LIZZY

Lizzy was 16 when she was asked by Chantal Janzen, a Dutch celeb and tv host, to perform at the launch of her lifestyle brand &C. Janzen. She had found her on Instagram and was impressed with the piano song ‘Kites’ that Lizzy had written for her friend. After being introduced to artists like SZA, H.E.R., Jhene Aiko, Erykah Badu and Lauryn Hill, she immediately fell in love and started exploring her own style. In 2018 the Brabant-based artist got accepted to the Herman Brood Academy. Surrounded by good energy and like-minded people she started to cultivate her musical talent and writing skills. In 2019 she was asked to be one of the top talents of House of Knowledge. At age 23, Lizzy ia already a versatile artist. Not only does she write her own lyrics and/or (co)produce her own songs, she also writes for other artists and cooperates on the lyrics for a Dutch musical.

Lizzy’s first single Coming ‘n Goin was released in 2020 during the pandemic. This was followed by her debut album ‘ SEVENSTAGES’. With this album she produced a short film on YouTube ( supported by the Fund of Performing Arts). In 2022 she collaborated with a team of talented musicians, producers, from Studio104, on several projects including her own and she released her new singles "‘ A man like You’ and ‘Solar eclipse’ with VOKALL.
